A piece of the 1970's British design history. Stunning 11 pieces set from Wood & Sons, England. This pattern is called "Inca", from the 1970's. The pieces have beautiful organic shapes and elegant flourishes as well as that wonderful repeat pattern. Very sophisticated.

They are beautiful and useable. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, repairs and no cracks with just a few signs of usage and crazing.

Says : INCA by Woods & Sons. Burslem England. Oven, detergent, dishwasher proof. Potters for over 200 years.

I love this illustrated retro floral print! This is an amazing collectible mid century Broadhurst set in the Calypso pattern, a 1963 design by Kathie Winkle.

They are very beautiful and useable. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, repairs and no cracks with just a few signs of light usage and crazing.

Says : Broadhurst. Made in England. Ironstone. A Kathie Winkle design. Handpainted. Underglaze. Detergent proof. Complies with safety standards. CALYPSO.

Comprises 30 pieces in total :

6 large dinner plates (9.5" diameter)

6 cups (3" diameter x 2 7/8" tall)

Kathie Winkle (1932-) began her long and prolific career in ceramic design at Shorter and Son, Stoke-on-Trent, where she trained as a 'paintress'. Around 1950, she joined James Broadhurst & Sons Ltd, where she worked up to her retirement in 1992. She became something of a 'golden girl' at Broadhurst and quickly rose in ranks to become the company's head designer. Her patterns became increasingly popular due to the increased demand of new styles of kitchenware.

Her first patterns appear around 1958 she ultimately became responsible for all of Broadhurst's patterns. Over the course of her career as a designer (until the mid-1970s) she created over 100 patterns. However as machine-decorating techniques began to take over from hand painting in the mid 1970s, Kathie Winkle stopped designing, her patterns slowly being phased out - although older designs continued in production. In 1978 she changed role in the company moving to quality control.

This fabulous mid century Alfred Meakin pattern is highly sought after and is very typically 1950's. I love this set and would be keeping it myself if I wasn't over run with vintage crockery. One good home needed!

Vintage Japanese Green Conch Sea Shell Sugar Bowl and Creamer Set

This is a beautiful hand painted set of vintage green conch sea shell creamer and sugar bowl with a very nice glossy finished. They're painted in the realistic colors of a live conch scootin' through the shallows along a Florida beach. Made in Japan, these were most likely a souvenir from the 1950's.

The covered sugar bowl measures approx 4" long x 4" x 3.5" tall including lid

Creamer measures approx 4" from handle to spout x 3" x 3" tall

The set is in excellent vintage condition, no chips or repairs, with a charming age related glaze crazing.

Relive those fun years of exploring the world through magnified eyes. There can't be too many more out there like this one. Here is a retro Porter Science Microcraft Microscope Lab Model No. 2105 and produced in the 1950s. The set is almost complete and comes with its original metal carry case. If you have a longing for some serious throwback mad scientist moments this is for you. This would make a great display piece for a scientist's office, father's day gift, theater prop or store display.

Includes :

Heavy-duty working adjustable metal microscope
Mounted light. I plugged it in and the light bulb lit up, it uses a standard night light bulb, so it can easily be replaced when necessary.
A variety of metal and glass tools (one glass stick is broken)
Tweezers
2 glass specimen bottles
1 small box of cover slips
1 small box of slide labels
1 small box of lens cleaners
3 boxes of test materials : hay infusion, fiberous specimens, feathers,
1 booklet "Secrets of Nature - See specimens come to life"

The outside case looks pretty good. As you can see in the photos, it does have minor scratches, on the inside, it's really nice. The microscope, tools and slides are in good condition. The content of a tube appears to have dried up. The lid of the box has some light overall wear and a few small tears.

7 1950's Junior Deluxe Editions Children's Books

This is a lot of seven Junior Deluxe Edition books from the 1950's. These have beautiful, interesting black and white illustrations for children to admire and the covers are just amazing. Lets start a collection of beautifully illustrated, classic story books for your kids or future kids! And most likely read them all before them. Enjoy!

From what I could glean from my own research and knowledge of the collection, there are almost 90 or so books in complete set. The books were all published between 1947 to 1968 by mainly Nelson Doubleday Inc and J.P. Lippincott Co. All of the illustrations are done by different illustrators. The stories are all of the classics, but some broken up to make them more digestible for children.

Books are all in good vintage condition showing the inevitable wear from time and usage. Some do have tears on the inside covers, some have pencil drawings and they all have wear to their covers anb backs.

Vanity Fair Acoustical 78 Player Model 500

"A lifetime of pleasure"! This is a vintage Vanity Fair phonograph from the 1950s. This player would be a stand-out piece in any vintage radio collection. An incredible piece, colorful and fun little piece of history.

It is in good, vintage condition. The phonograph is made of blue metal. There is a bit of wear and a stains on the platter. With a 78 record on it, you'll never know it's there. Needle is missing. Plate turns but because there is no needle, I can't tell if it plays well.

Their graceful curved edges and long handle are offset by antique gold art nouveau designs. Done in a 1950's style but with a touch of Art Nouveau. In excellent vintage condition. Some scuffing of back of the mirror, but pearl finish still very visible. Some of the gold paint has worn off.

This excellent condition COC Microscope has it all -- three magnifications (100x, 200x, 300x), a cast iron base, slides, metal and plastic tools and the original wooden box! A great piece of mid-century history, bring nostalgia for the excitement of space age exploration. Most likely from the 50s-60s.

Drawer includes 11 slides : 6 clear and 1 with fossil diatom, 1 with larva of mosquito, 1 with scale hair of silver-berry, 1with epidermal cell of onion and 1 with hair of bass-wood.

Made in Japan.

Vintage Federal Glass Nesting Mixing Bowls - Set of 4

Known as "antique" or "utensils," this 1960s Federal Glass pattern has an assortment of vintage kitchen aids, including a kettle, coffee grinder, oil lamp, vase, tea pot, etc. A gorgeous shade of teal on a beautiful white milk glass background. Bottoms have the Federal Glass logo (F inside a crest) and "Heat Proof USA". The Federal Glass Company began making heat resistant products during the 1940's.

These four bowls have been used and are in overall excellent vintage condition. Color and patterns are all still good. They all have some minor scratching & minor wear. Larger bowl seems to have been more used than the others and have less luster. They have been thoroughly cleansed in plenty of hot and soapy water, rinsed in a heavy bleach solution and then in plenty of clear water.

Extra small : 5" diameter at rim x 2.5" tall
Small : 6" diameter at rim x 3" tall
Medium: 7" diameter at rim x 3 1/2" tall

1940's Jack Binder Large Framed Print

This is amazing and rare lithograph by Jack Binder printed by E.J.S. This beauty is behind glass and features a living room composition. This is not a recent replica but, from the 1940's. Constructed solidly and ready to be hung!

The print is in excellent condition with no signs of foxing, some dimpling and overall age toning. Only few minor tears. The period frame does not have the original brown paper backing. The glass is not cracked or chipped.

Measures about 28.75" tall x 22" with 5/6" dept.

John "Jack" Binder (Born in Austria-Hungary August 11, 1902 – March 1986) emigrated to America in 1910, where he settled with his parents and five siblings in Chicago. He was a Golden Age comics creator and art packager. A fine artist by education, Binder had a prolific comics career that lasted primarily from 1937 to 1953, through his most concentrated work was through 1946. He was the creator of the original comic book Daredevil, for Lev Gleason Publications. The Binder Trio includes his younger brothers Otto and Earl who wrote some published science fiction under the Eando name.

These imported Italian pieces are truly enchanting! The pictures are vintage prints of 3 Victorian women and one child. These solid antiqued gold tone metal brass frames from the 1970s are in their original condition and have been done in a Victorian style scroll work design. Hangers attached to backs. Adorable vintage set by Enesco. This line was produced in the 50's to compete with Lefton's "Miss Priss". These yellow cats have checkered "gingham" bow ties at the base and wear hats adorned with Daisies. Cute and charming addition to ones collection.

Lidded sugar bowl stands approx. 4" tall x 4" wide. Creamer measures approx. 3 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" across from spout to handle.

Red and silver ENESCO paper label says : Imports Enesco Japan

In good pre-owned condition. Small chips on the petals on daysies of the sugar bowl lid. No sugar spoon. Because this set has a few bumps and bruises, it becomes affordable for the collector on a budget. Set has some chips, some small and not very noticeable. Crazing and some scratches. They're there nonetheless - so I've priced her accordingly. Please look carefully at the photos.

Vintage vanity hand mirror and brush set

These two elegant gold vintage brush and beveled mirror set in gold plated metal come from part of a dressing table set and are very pretty with a floral pink and gold flowers design on a cream background which is under a protective plastic cover. They are so lovely and they would be a beautiful addition to your powder room or set out on your vanity.

The actual mirror is in very good vintage condition with no chips or ghosting and is nice and clear. The brush is in very good vintage condition and has nylon bristles. The gold handles and frames of the set are in very good vintage condition and handles of both pieces are nice and tight. Plating is a little bit worn, which makes a beautiful patina.

Mirror measures approx 12.5" long and brush measures approx 10" long.

Vintage Native American Ute Mountain Pottery Pitcher

The bold design and bright colors on this vintage Ute Mountain pitcher are spectacular and vivid. This is a hand painted and artist Idina D. Clark signed piece of southwestern pottery.

Measures about 5" tall, 5.5" in diameter x 7" from handle to spout. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repair.

The Pottery Factory lies in the valley formed by the Sleeping Ute Mountain on the west and the cliffs of Mesa Verde National Park to the east. These lands were once home to the ancient Anasazi people who mysteriously vanished several centuries ago. The ruins of the cliff dwellings and villages of the Anasazi have yielded many examples of roughened earthenware and finely decorated pottery.

The Utes, a nomadic tribe until the 1800's, now inhabit this beautiful and geographically diverse land. Their unique paintings contain elements of the geometric designs of the Anasazi. However, Ute artists have, over many years, adapted these designs and included their own representations of their land.

To encourage the talents of tribal artists, the tribe formed the pottery enterprise in 1973. Ute Mountain Indian Pottery employs about 30 tribal members in all phases of production and management. The pieces of pottery are not only durable for everyday use, but are of museum quality for your collection.

Pottery is poured by hand into ceramic molds, then turned and cleaned. Artists create their own original designs and sign each piece. The pottery is glazed by hand and fired in modern kilns. The result is a line of high-quality pottery that is one of the few truly Native American products available.

These are way too much fun! This is a great vintage set of Pixie head Christmas light covers. There are 8 plastic heads, with red or grey felt collars and hats. The hats are trimmed with metal jingle bells and a gold string for hanging as an ornament. Each has a hole in the back for inserting a light. A great addition to your vintage Christmas display!

They measure about 3" long from the tip of their caps to the end of their collars. They're approx 2" wide from pointy ear to pointy ear.

The elves are in good vintage condition. They do have some staining and show wear and age. They are still Christmas collectable. I have not attempted to really clean them, other than a simple wipe down. There are no rips or nicks to them.

Dernièrement, Samantha, cliente chouchou avec tellement de goût et ô combien charmante, m'a fait l'honneur de visiter de son lumineux triplex de 1885 transformé en cottage.

Situé dans le quartier Petite Bourgogne, c'est verre de vin en main qu'elle et son mari Manuel m'ont fait faire le grand tour de leur magnifique demeure, du sous-sol rempli de trésors au troisième étage. Ils ont réalisés la grande majorité des travaux eux-mêmes, ce que je les admire!

J'ai adoré la déco harmonisant vintage et contemporain avec goût et éloquence. Au rez-de-chaussée décloisonné se trouve une vieille table de style réfectoire appartenant à Sam depuis qu'elle est étudiante. Elle est immense et à mourir de jalousie! De surcroit, elle est couronnée d'un superbe luminaire d'un designer italien, tout simplement majestueux! Un triptyque de photographies noir et blanc du quartier datant de la fin du 19e siècle, où l'on peut d'ailleurs voir le fameux cottage, complète le décor de la salle à manger.

Bon, évidemment, fidèle à moi-même, je n'ai pas manqué ma chance de déverser la moitié du contenu de ma coupe sur le plancher et l'autre moitié à même le pantalon de la belle Sam...

Oh, et en passant, Sam est l'heureuse propriétaire de ma série de pancartes de signalisation, yay! J'étais tellement heureuse qu'elles se retrouvent toutes au même endroit car les voir ensemble vaut littéralement un million, et dans un décor comme celui-ci, c'est à couper le souffle!

This vintage beam lantern is a wonderful shade of blue and is in very good vintage condition. This was manufactured specifically for the railroads use during the 1950s and it was a hand lantern for the car inspectors. It is on a metal base that can be held by hand or put down and positioned on the metal base. The metal base has a star that is die cut on both sides. The handle is wood, and the body is painted blue.

Overall dimensions are as follows: 7" Length x 9" tall x 4.5 " diameter

There is wear on this, exterior scratches, chipped paint and rust buds. No dents or dings.

As I haven't tested it, I do not know if it works.

Absolutely beautiful with lots of aging and wear, this shabby chic watering can has lots of character. Probably made of some type of zinc based metal in the 1940s or 1950s. Works great and it makes a gorgeous garden ornament or planter. The turquoise metal patina looks fabulous!

The sprinkler head screws off.

There are dents, marks and rust all over it, but overall no holes, breaks or repairs, watertight and excellent vintage condition. I have left it in it's as found condition.

The bottom has a 8.5" diameter. The body is about 9" high without the handle and stands about 15" high overall.

Stunning blue tutu ballerina TV lamp made of chalkware / plaster with a back fiberglass shade. A rare find in the genre that will make a fun and feminine addition to your decor!

The lamp is working and is in very nice overall condition for its age with just a bit of wear to the paint, most of which can be seen on the pictures. No chips or cracks. The back of the fiberglass shade has a burn mark which is not visible from the front.

This is a very heavy piece so the shipping will reflect that weight.

Vintage rough industrial electric fan

This is an awesome one-of-a-kind piece, a perfect touch for that industrial decor. Nice rough and heavy textured body. Cast iron base, aluminium cage and aluminium blades. Stands on it's own or can be wall mounted. The fan displays great with a wonderful mid century modern stream lined design. Wonderful industrial patina. It certainly needs a good bath to make it more presentable and is in need of restoration but personnaly, I like it that way, rough and dirty!

The fan is in working condition even though the switch button is broken.

The height is approx 14", the guard cage is approx 11" in diameter and the aluminum blades are 5" long.

Réservé pour Lucie - 1950's vintage vanity hand mirror and brush set

These two elegant gold vintage brush and beveled mirror set in goldtone metal come from part of a dressing table set and are very pretty with a floral pink, yellow and blue flowers design on a cream background which is under a protective plastic cover. Both have a beautiful filigree intricate brass setting design on their neck and bottom with chased engraving all up the handle, the gilt has darkened with age and has a lovely patina. They are so lovely and they would be a beautiful addition to your powder room or set out on your vanity.

The actual mirror is in very good vintage condition with no chips or ghosting and is nice and clear. The brush is in very good vintage condition, has nylon bristles and very few are missing on the right side. The gold handles and frames of the set are in very good vintage condition and handles of both pieces are nice and tight.

Mirror measures 12.5" long and brush measures 10 1/4" long.

This is a dreamy vintage English ironstone two tier tidbit server cake stand in a pretty aqua and glod delicate floral design with metal center handle and spacer. Avon by Wood & Sons, Burslem, made in England. Labeled "Alpine white ironstone".

Can be used in many different ways. This is a perfect center piece for weddings, showers, tea parties, or any event where you want a special touch. This piece is a great gift, functional and beautiful.

This is not an "upcycled" cake stand made from separate pieces, but is in it's original vintage condition. No damage or chips. Few charming crazing due to its age and compatible wear with a vintage piece. The top handle has lost all of its gold and the middle bar is missing gold at its bottom.

Bottom plate measures 10" diameter, top plate (which is more like a bowl) measures 5.5" diameter and the two tier is 10" tall.

Beautiful vintage 1950's Pyrex refrigerator set in the popular turquoise "Butterprint" pattern on white with clear glass lids. The Butterprint pattern consists of Amish Farmer and Whife, corn stalks, rooster, and wheat sheafs in fired- on turquoise. This pyrex refrigerator set goes right from the oven to your table and then pop the tops on and you can store your left overs in your refrigerator!

Perfect to add to your existing collection of Pyrex. This set displays very nicely on a countertop and can also be used for storage.

Overall, this set is in excellent vintage condition.

• 2 Small, 1½ Cup each TradeMark, Pyrex, Made in USA, 14. White glass is free of any chips, cracks or fractures. No dark utensil marks. Pattern is crisp and clear. The lids are different. One lid is near perfect with no roughness, the other has some slight roughness along the very bottom edge which is barely noticeable. 3" tall x 3¼" long x 4" wide (with lid)

This lovely swirled handblown pink glass perfume bottle with its iridescent tones will liven up any dressing table and / or bathroom cabinet. It is the perfect addition to any vanity or perfume collection. The atomizer has a hanging tassel ans is made of imitation gold hardware.

Set of 3 floral embroided handkerchiefs in original box

This is a new vintage boxed set of three lovely feminine floral embroided handkerchiefs. These hankies are brand new folded in the original box, and have never been used, they are still pinned (not stapled) neatly in position to the paper. Mint condition. A beautiful boxed vintage gift set!

The hankies have some lovely flowers embroidery in the corners and are multicolored in shades of blue, pink, yellow and greens on a creamy white background. The material is cotton.

There is no brand on the box but one of the hankie is stickered "Made in Switzerland" (see picture 3) and they appear to be machine made.

The box measures approx 9 1/4' square. I have not taken apart the hankies to measure them but as they are folded I can only estimate size to be 10" square.

Precious little baby blue Potty Pot in its original box. The front is printed with a cute little pink ducky. It is made out of plastic, and probably dates to around 1940-50.

It is in excellent shape except for the small spot that you can see on picture 5. Looks like an ink stain from the ducky. Super clean! Pot measures 3.5" tall x 7 1/4" diameter.

1950s typewriter Royal Quiet DeLuxe portable with case

The Royal Quiet DeLuxe puts you right in touch with literary history -- it was one of Ernest Hemingway's favorite machines. Compact, snazzy and a pleasure to write with, this workhorse model is a fantastic gift for aspiring writer.

Royal was one of the longest-lived typewriter manufacturers. They introduced their first typewriter, the Royal #1, in 1906 and did not stop manufacturing tyepwriters until the 1970s. The Royal Quiet DeLuxe was introduced just before World War II, but its production was suspended when Royal Typewriter Company, like other typewriter manufacturers in the United States at the time, was converted to an ordnance factory to produce weapons. When production resumed in 1946, the Royal Quiet DeLuxe continued to gain a following among on-the-go writers and journalists.The company still exists, albeit having undergone many incarnations as part of various parent companies. Today, Royal is owned by Olivetti and still sells typewriters, though none with the famous Royal brand.

This one is the Forest Green key/charcoal grey body/ tan tweed original case variation. Tweed case is 13.5" x 13 1/4" x 7.5".

Everything works great, all levers and scrolls works. Every key works fine. Carriage return works smoothly. Nice clickety typewriter sound. Case has some age related wear. Needs new ribbon. Overall, excellent vintage condition.

Rare 1950s John Bull printing outfit No 8

This one is a beautiful amazing version from the toy's heyday in the 1950s and it was THE toy to have if you were 7-11 years old in post-war Britain. It works in the same principle of every other home letterpress kit – lots of tiny rubber squares with reversed letters raised up on the top surface. Simple arrange the letters in the little wooden grooves, press into an inkpad and well, print away! The rubber letterblocks are well preserved but have hardened a little with age and each block measures about 3/16" high. The kit comes with it’s own set of nifty tweezers and its original instruction sheet (see picture 4).

Printed inside the cover of the box is the name of a previous owner, Billy Widdop.

Box is in excellent vintage condition and measures 7¼ x 5".

Made in the British Isles / No 8 / "Carbak" Series / Carson Baker Ltd., 184 Southampton Way, London, S.E.5, England.

Instructions for use Outfit No. 8 says : Separate the India-rubber type carefully. To set type in holder, start on the right-hand side of the type holder and place the type in a row towards the left. The letters are merely pressed into the holder. When the words or sentence is complete see that the face of the type is level. To print, carefully ink type on the pad. Take care that the article to be printed rests on a firm, flat surface. Should pad dry, damp the surface with a little water.

1940s stainless steel Chard Hair Clipper

This is a 1940s stainless steel hair clipper called the Chard. It is ref no 60B. Chard hair clippers were manufactured by Brown's Clipper Co between 1939 and 1950 and they were made in England. Brown’s went out of business in 1950. Complete with its original box which also contains the original printed paper instructions in six languages and felt blade cover. The clippers are complete, with strong mechanism.

The box, which measures approximately 15.8 x 9.2 x 4.5cm (6.2 x 3.6 x 1.75in), is a little discoloured and worn with age, with some creasing and small tears. The original printed paper instructions is folded and teared in the middle, although it is unusual that it survives at all ! 1960s bright yellow Sparklets Syphon seltzer bottle in its original box

Perhaps the best known of all the Sparklets profiles, an iconic 1960's retro piece this Sparklets Hostmaster is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original box, inside plastic straw, a box of 5/10 bulbs/cartridges (I cannot guarantee that they are still useable), instructions, guarantee card and a capsule holder. The yellow paint is in perfect condition and on the whole this is a real time warp item that comes in as mint condition. Its profile suggested up to the minute modernity in the 60s.

As I haven't tested it, I do not know if it works.

It was made in England by the British Oxygen Company Ltd.

Bilingual copper fire extinguisher - PICK UP ONLY

This original antique beauty is about 24 inches tall, 8 inches diameter and has been well preserved. The copper is polished leaving a nice authentic finish. The age is unknown but based on research, it was likely made in the 1920s. It's in excellent condition.

It says :

Tested 350 pounds. The Guardian fire extinguisher. National MFG co ltd Brockwille Ont.

To operate turn bottom up. Charging directions : Put 1 1/2 lbs bi-carbonate of soda into tank. Add water up to inside projection. Stir well fill bottle half full (4 fluid ounces) of sulphuric acid. Put stopple in bottle. Screw cover on tight. Clean out thoroughly and re-charge pnce a year or immediately after use. Record date last charged on card attached. Protect from freezing.

Pour opérer renversez. Pour recharger : Remplir d'eau jusqu'à la projection en dedans. Ajoutez 1 1/2 lbs bi-carbonate de soude et faites dissoudre. Remplir la bouteille (4 onces fluides) jusqu'à la marque d'acide sulfurique. Couvrez-la du bouchon en plomb. Revissez bien la tête. Après usage partiel nettoyer et recharger une fois l'an. Inscrivez la date d ela dernière charge sur la carte attachée. Protégez contre la gelée.

California pottery relish/condiment tray

These are really nifty retro dishes. Beautiful 7-piece California Pottery set perfect for parties or even just out on display. It is pink and gray in color and it consists of 4 relish trays, a bowl, and salt and pepper shakers. The center bowl is molded to resemble the cabbage and the four trays surrounding it are molded to resemble the cabbage leaves.

This dates to the 1950's or 1960's and the pottery pieces are marked with mold number 275 and 'made in USA' on the bottom.

Overall, this piece does not appear to have been heavily used. Very good vintage condition with no cracks but one very small chip on a relish tray. Charming crazing due to its age. I did notice that the salt and pepper shakers and the center bowl pottery has a couple of small nicks on the edegs that have apparently been skillfully touched up so they really aren't that noticeable (see pictures).

Approximate measurements are 12 1/4" across, the salt and pepper shakers measure 2" high and the center cabbage bowl measures about 5.5'' diameter by 2" tall.

Edison gold moulded records cases

This is original Edison Gold Moulded Records cases with the patent date of August 9, 1904 printed at the top. The actual record cylinders are not in the cases, but, this is still a neat find and a bit of history. Edison Records was one of the earliest record labels which pioneered recorded sound and was an important player in the early recording industry.

The cardboard container measures 4.5" tall x 2.5" diameter.

The outside of the cases is worn, but in good shape for the age of the item. Without lids. As with any vintage piece, there is wear to the item and this is purchased "as is", and that is the fun thing about owning a bit of history!

Kaj Franck Arabia Finland Finel mid century enamel bowl

Vintage white enamel bowl with red hearts designed by Kaj Franck for Finel Finland. Kaj Franck (1911-1989) was one of the leading figures of Finnish design, the teacher of several generations of professional designers in Finland, and an influential figure in design and applied arts between 1940-1980. He is described as the conscience of Finnish design. He removed everything excessive in his designs, leaving only the essentials. The Mint of Finland have released a collector coin with the theme "Kaj Franck and Industrial Art" in January 2011. The year of release coincides with the one hundredth anniversary of his birth.

This is in very good vintage condition with some rim knocks and a little scratching of the hearts and scuffing on the bottom. Useable and displayable.

Measures approx. 8 1/4" diameter x 5.5" tall.

***A small note about enamelware. Not everyone understands that enamelware is glass on metal and very fragile. That is why so much of it has little condition issues from use. Do not use metal ware with it, do not scrub it with a wire brush. Cook ware should be used watchfully with a low flame. And I wouldn't stack it with my dishes.

Woodfield MFG by Steubenville set

Beautiful collectible set made in Steubenville Ohio and marked Woodfield MFG by Steubenville. The Steubenville Pottery operated from 1879 to 1959, and the Woodfield line was produced in the 1940's.

This set icludes :

- 3 saucers / snack plates : Plates are ornately carved glazed to look like a cluster of leaves. There is a section on each plates of a circular leaves where there is space for a cup. Yellowish green glaze color where olive color is used to show shadow and the veins of the individual leaves, green where a darker color is used to show shadow and the veins of the individual leaves and one in a pink color with brown speckles, the brown is repeated to show shadow and the veins of the individual leaves. Plates are in mint condition : no cracks, chips, crazing, discoloration or signs of wear. Measures approx. 9" diameter.

- 4 cups : 1 in a yellowish green glaze color and 3 in a grey color, leaf carving. The carving of the leaf is wrapped across the entire outer side of each cup. In mint condition : no cracks, chips, crazing, discoloration or signs of wear. Measures approx. 2" tall x 4" diameter.

Kiln Craft "Bacchus" Staffordshire 1972 coffee pot and Santa Fe plates

Kiln Craft was huge in the 1970's as utilitartian and affordable kitchenware. The design and motif couldnt be more seventies, and also the chunky size and shape of the coffee pot with flat lid. Caramel colour with brown speckles.

Staffordshire Potteries Ltd. grew out of the Keele Street Pottery Group. In the 1950s they were producers of utilitarian white cups, and dinner wares. During the 1960s and 1970s the company concentrated on the production of mugs as well.
The Kilncraft brand name was introduced in 1972 and introduced a new range of modern shapes, colours and surface decorations, such as the Bramble and Bacchus ranges. This range was so successful that the name and trade mark was adopted as the corporate symbol for Staffordshire Potteries Ltd.

In 1979 the company acquired Royal Winton and a new range of red stoneware ‘cook and serve’ dinner wares and cookwares was produced, specially designed for microwave ovens. However, by 1983, this range described as "rustic stoneware style", had been abandoned in favour of more delicate, pastel colours of the eighties.

By 1985, Staffordshire Potteries were the largest manufacturers of mugs in the world, producing over 750,000 per week. In 1986 the company was taken over by Coloroll home furnisings Group of Manchester. In 1990 after a management buyout it was renamed Staffordshire Tableware, and the company failed a few years later I believe.

- Bowl (x2) : One is in excellent vintage condition, strongly intact with no chips or cracks and colouring vibrant, no discoloration. The other one is in the exact same condition but has one chip on the rim as shown in photo 19. Measure 1 3/4" tall x 3 3/8" diameter.

- Salt and pepper shakers : Both have their original stoppers. Their colouring are still vibrant and have no cracks but there are some brown discoloration spots on both shakers. The pepper one is not in very good condition, it has one crack with discoloration around it but still works perfectly. Please look carefully at all the photos from 22 to 26. Measure 3" tall x 1 5/8" diameter.

Johnson Brothers Staffordshire old granite Hearts & Flowers coffee set

From Johnson Brothers, made in England, this is a vintage coffee set in the charming Old Granite Hearts & Flowers pattern, which was made from 1974 to 1989. Blue pattern on a beige, slightly speckled ironstone.

The back of the plates is marked: "Johnson Brothers, Stoke-on-Trent, England, Staffordshire, Old Granite, Made in England, All Decoration Dish Washer Safe, Ironstone, Hearts & Flowers," plus two crown markings stating Crown by appointment to her majesty the Queen manfacturers of ceramic tableware. Crown by appointment to H.M.Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Manufacturer of ceramic tableware.

They are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks except for one chip on the back side of a plate (see picture 12 and 13). The pattern is bright.

Broadhurst ironstone coffee pot by Kathie Winkle

Kathie Winkle began her pottery career at Shorter and Son, Stoke-on-Trent, where she was trained as a paintress. She joined James Broadhurst & Sons Ltd., Portland Pottery, Fenton around 1950, initially as a paintress, but by 1958 she was producing her own designs. She soon became responsible for all Broadhurst’s pattern designs from then until the mid 1970s. The removal of post-war restrictions on the designers created a demand for new styles of kitchenware and Broadhursts were able to use Kathie Winkle’s ideas to meet this new market.

All designs from the late 1950s were printed on the ware by semi-automatic rubber stamping machines. The designs comprised two parts - an outline in black created by the stamping process with bright colours then hand painted in the spaces before the wares were glazed. The new geometric patterns were a clear departure from the more usual floral motifs found on tablewares.

During her time as a designer Kathie Winkle produced over 100 patterns. The shapes of the ware did not change. Simple forms proved a more suitable background for frequent pattern changes. Torcan desk electric fan

This is a Torcan model 96 table top electric fan. Nice caramel-yellow body with bright aluminum cage and blades and cast iron base. Stands on it's own or can be wall mounted. The original tag still firmly in place.

The fan is in a used working condition, little bit noisy. There is some paint chipping on the top and rust spots on the blades. Otherwise it is in great vintage condition.

The height is approx. 13.5 inches and the guard cage is approx. 11.5 inches in diameter and the aluminum blades are 4.5 inches long.

Vintage 1950's set of ceramic kitchen canisters in a creamy white and Brown Onion pattern. Made by Original Arnart Creations in Japan with a distinctive middle Eastern hourglass shape and decorative tops, uniquely decorated in a vine, gingko leaf and mum design accented with terra cotta stripes. The lids have a dimensional leafy onion as a handle.

Includes :

- Farine (flour in French) : 11" tall (including lid) x 5.5" diameter. Jar has one crack on the back, not visible from the front and some pattern transfer defects that are parts of its vintage beauty.

- Sucre (sugar in French) : 9.5" tall (including lid) x 4 3/4" diameter. Jar has chip on the back not visible from the front and some pattern transfer defects as well as the flour one.

All two are in clean and excellent condition with minor vintage wear.

Butterprint cinderella Pyrex mixing bowl - turquoise

One of the all-time most loved vintage Pyrex patterns is this, the Butterprint pattern commonly refered to as the "Amish" pattern. First produced in 1957, this classic pattern portrays a scene with Mr. and Mrs. Farmer holding a basket of their bounty, surrounded by wheat, large roosters, corn stalks and wheat sheafs.

This is the Cinderella bowl, white on turquoise. Unlike a standard round bowl, it has handles which on one side can be used as a spout for easily pouring out what has been mixed. As with most Pyrex, it is safe to use with hot liquids.

There are paint chips under both handles (see picture), probably due to stacking with other bowls and other few minor scratches in the paint but the overall condition is good. No cracks.

Mid century wire basket

Pretty silver with a beautiful worn tarnish patina.

This wire basket measures 9 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/4 inches in length.

It has some blemishes and scratches, compatible wear with a vintage piece. Overall excellent condition.

1950s Dormeyer Mixwell mixer model 5020 with all of the accessories

This working vintage mixer by Dormeyer was manufactured in the 1950s. An absolute classic, its finish is one of the most desirable shades of antique white.

It comes with all of the accessories shown in the photos, including the original milk glass mixing bowl, juicing parts, beaters and meat grinder. The motor runs smoothly on all speeds and the cord is in great shape as well as all the accessories.

It has a lot of wear to the paint and little rust but it is in excellent working condition. There is wear, but that can only be expected for something that was used every day for years and years. Built to last.

Chicago based company, the A.F. Dormeyer Corporation (formerly the MacLeod Company), produced vertical motor mixers beginning with both a small, hand-held machine with a drink mixer-like motor (made by Hamilton Beach, no less), and a square-boxed hand-held mixer whose beater assembly actually made it possible for this mixer to stand freely while operating. Dormeyer introduced its first stand-mounted vertical head mixer in the late 1920s-early 1930s, and actually kept vertical-head stand mixers in production well through the early 1950s, though they had become one of the company's more budget-line offerings by the mid-to-late 1940s.

Dormeyer was almost as familiar an American kitchen presence as Sunbeam, made by Hamilton-Beach. Dormeyer appliances were as durable as their Sunbeam rivals.

It has been thoroughly cleansed in plenty of hot and soapy water, rinsed in a heavy bleach solution and then in plenty of clear water.
